STORY IN THE BEACH

One day, I was sitting on the beach looking at the distant ships. I was enjoying the sound of the waves. Also I was enjoying the cool wind. 

Suddenly I heard a sound “Help Help” 

I looked around. But I did not see anything. Again I heard the same sound. I stood up and looked everywhere. 

 




Then I saw an old tourist was shouting. He was drowning. 

I looked around to get some help. Unfortunately, there was no one.  

So, I decided to help him. 

 

 


 

 

I walked quickly towards the tourist. I had to swim a little distance. I grabbed his hand and dragged him slowly to the beach. 

 

After lying on the beach for few minutes, he got up and thanked me a lot. Also he gave me an unbelievable gift. It was a free ticket to Germany. It was one of my dreams to go to abroad. But I rejected it because our responsibility is to protect our foreign visitors. And even I didn’t expect something in return.

Then all the tourists appreciated me. And they invited me to their countries and gave me their contacts too. Finally I got a chance to travel to one of my favorite countries. 



 

MORAL: If you help someone you will be rewarded.

Tuan Burhanuddin Jayah or Dr. T.B Jayah was born on January 1st in 1890 in Galagedara, Sri lanka. He was an educationalist, politician, diplomat and Muslim community leader in Sri lanka and specially he was a sri lankan national hero. He was attended to the St. Paula's college, kandy for his education in 1904. He was a well built person. The fair skin and his average body, gave him honorable look. He was medium size and fat.  When, he finished his secondary education, he passed his junior and senior examinations with merits and he became a school teacher. Cricket is a famous game played in many countries of the world like England, India,Srilanka and  Australia.It is a game played with a bat and ball. Two teams are needed to play, and eleven players are  allowed in each side. Both teams have to bat and ball.The team that bats must score runs while the  bowling team should stop them by taking wickets.  There are umpires to make sure that rules are  followed. The game is played on a field with a rectangular pitch on which batsmen play. Cricket is a  global game loved by many.The team captains do the coin toss. The captain that wins gets to choose  what they want to do first. Each of team has to bat and ball. 2 batsmen are allowed on the field and try to  score a good amount of runs. The bowling team tries to ball them out to prevent this. A batsman can  score a maximum of 6 runs in one ball. A bowler can ball six balls in each over.
